2008 Florida Venture Capital Conference

You are invited to attend the 17th annual Florida Venture Capital Conference January 29 – January 30, 2008 at the Renaissance Vinoy in St. Petersburg, Florida. Florida is the center of high technology growth in the Southeast and one of the leading high-tech States in the country.

During the Conference, approximately 20-25 of the best Florida-based private companies looking for venture capital funding in Florida will make presentations to a national audience of venture capitalists, investment bankers and private equity investors. Seminars for entrepreneurs and venture capitalists will focus on various aspects of the venture capital industry. In-depth panel discussions will cover a variety of topics.

The Florida Venture Capital Conference continues to attract private companies capable of producing high rates of return for their investors. Presenters from the last 16 Venture Capital Conferences have been very successful from a funding standpoint, raising over $1.5 Billion to date. More than 1,200 people attended the 2007 Conference, including representatives of 200 venture capital firms from across the US representing billions of dollars to invest in the state. The Conference is a "must attend" networking opportunity for venture capitalists and other investors interested in emerging Florida businesses. Conference attendees are encouraged to bring their spouse, guests and children and explore the greater Tampa Bay area and its pristine beaches.
